FAQs

If my vehicle is undrivable or unroadworthy can it be collected?

Yes. Once we receive the repair notification from your insurer, you will be contacted to discuss the damage and arrange a suitable date/time for collection.

What if I can't bring my vehicle in for an estimate?

We can estimate your vehicle's damage from images emailed in to us. However, it is always best to see your vehicle in person to explore any possible underlying damage which may not be visible on images.

Will I have access to a courtesy car if I am paying privately for damage repairs?

Yes if required. A payment for seperate insurance and a small rental fee will be due upon collection of the courtesy car.

What payments am I responsible for before my car is returned?

If you are claiming on your insurance policy, your policy excess will need to be paid upon collection or delivery of your vehicle.

If your vehicle is having any private work completed, a parts deposit (if applicable) will be taken upon the booking date and the rest of the work paid in full upon completion.

Payment of damage to courtesy car (if applicable)

Do you guarantee work undertaken to my vehicle?

Yes, we offer a lifetime guarantee.

Am I entitled to a courtesy car?

Your insurance policy defines courtesy car cover and we will be instructed by your insurer regarding this. Most policies only provide a class A courtesy car which is the equivalent of a Toyota Aygo or Vauxhall Corsa. However, here at Sapphire all our courtesy cars are of a class B standard, the level up from class A.

You will be covered driving one of our courtesy cars under your own current insurance policy.

How long will repairs take?

Once we have assessed your vehicle, you will be given a booking in date and an estimated completion date. On rare occasions, they are times when the E.C.D cannot be met due to extra damage being found or a parts delay. However, we will keep you up to date throughout the repair process.
